Synopsis
"A beautiful collection of imagery, rawness and honesty from an intelligent and engaging poet." - LEIGH HAY, author and poet
"
Attachments
by Antonette M Diorio is an exquisite collection of poems where the poet tells stories, some coloured by sadness, others by joy. With poignant words and rich imagery, people and the environment become alive. Nostalgic poems of times gone by take the readers through a journey of life. Some of Diorio's poems echo women's wisdom, in others she honors her roots and her past beckoning the reader to submerge themselves in this well-written collection. With humanity and imagination the poet shares with us a sense of the fragility of our existence. In Attachments Diorio not only demonstrates her skills as a poet but also her ability to turn the everyday into an inspiring journey." - DR BEATRIZ COPELLO, writer, psychologist
